ya. Di postingan kali ini, saya akan membahas tentang cara membuat kalimat
menggunakan future tense. Jadi, future tense ini digunakan untuk menceritakan sesuatu
atau aktivitas yang akan datang. Future tense ini juga mengekspresikan tentang
prediksi untuk sesuatu yang akan datang. Penggunaannya pun juga belum pasti
untuk menyatakan janji atau keinginan, tetapi bentuk kalimat ini sangat umum
diimplementasikan. Berikut penjelasannya dalam Bahasa Inggris.
Future tense usually expresses activities that might be happened in the
future. Besides, it also uses to predict future events, expresses willingness
and unwillingness, give orders and to invite. The used adverb of time in future
tense are like “later, tomorrow, today, on .... (e.g. on Tuesday), in... (e.g.
in 10 minutes), next... (e.g. next week, next month), and etc”.
Here is the formula and example using future tense:
The subject which use the modal
“will” can be always matched with all the subject (They, we, I, You, She, He,
and It)
S + will + V1
Ann will cook a blueberry pie.
Andrean will go to Bali on Friday.
Brenda and I will buy shoes in the
town tomorrow.
They will help my mother to move
the tools.
I will do my homework tonight.
You will get high score in English.
S + will not + V1
I’ll not forget him.
She’ll go a trip next week.
Will/will not+ S + V1
Will you take the book in the
teacher office?
Won’t you ask him to go to your
birthday party?
These examples of Future tense which is appropriate with the purpose (to predict, to express
willingness, and etc.) could be seen, as follow:
To predict future events
It’s cloudy, it will rain this
evening.
You will find a job soon.
To expresses willingness and
unwillingness
I’ll get a cup of coffee for you.
I’ll bring your belongings.
To give orders
She will bring the pizza later.
I’ll ask her to make a glass of
tea.
To invite
Will you marry me?
Will you come to my graduation
party?
